A Team That Gives: The D.R.E.A.M.S. Fundraising Effort

Right now, the strength of D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy is being built from within. Across our 30+ member team, students are stepping up in a powerful way, each taking personal responsibility for supporting and advancing the mission.
As part of this fundraising effort, team members are each contributing around $250, with many already exceeding that amount through their own initiative. What makes this moment so meaningful is that these contributions are not coming from a single event or centralized campaign. They are coming from individual effort, creativity, and a shared commitment to the work we are doing.
Across the team, members are raising funds in a variety of ways. Many are reaching out to parents, teachers, family members, and friends, having real conversations about the mission of D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy and why it matters. Others are going door to door in their neighborhoods, speaking directly with community members and inviting them to be part of something meaningful. Some are organizing small fundraisers, selling items, offering services, or finding creative ways to generate support within their own networks.
Each approach looks different, but together, they are creating something significant. This effort reflects not just participation, but ownership. Every team member is contributing in a way that shows they believe in what we are building.
One member we want to give a special shoutout to is Reed Dallman. In the middle of moving, Reed turned what could have been a routine transition into an opportunity to give back. He sold a collection of his clothes and personal items, not only contributing to sustainability in his community, but also raising over $400 for the D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy initiative. His effort stands out as a strong example of initiative and purpose in action.
This moment is a reminder that impact does not always begin with large-scale partnerships or major events. It can begin with individuals choosing to step up, take action, and contribute in whatever way they can. That is exactly what this team is doing right now.
We are incredibly thankful for every member of the D.R.E.A.M.S. team. Their effort, creativity, and commitment are helping drive the mission forward in a real and lasting way.
