D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy Honored with Princeton Prize Recognition

We are proud to share that our founder, Kene Oguine, has been awarded the Certificate of Recognition from the Princeton Prize in Race Relations for his work with D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy. This recognition is given to students who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing racial equity, building understanding, and creating meaningful change within their communities.
Kene’s work through D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy has always been rooted in a clear purpose: expanding access to education, particularly in STEM, for students who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Through programs that reach across the United States and internationally, D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy has focused on creating learning environments where students feel seen, supported, and capable of engaging with advanced ideas.
This recognition reflects not just the work of one individual, but the broader impact of a mission that continues to grow. From local outreach to international chapters, the work being done through D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy is centered on creating opportunity and challenging the idea that access to high-quality education should be limited by circumstance.
The Princeton Prize in Race Relations highlights efforts that bring people together, address inequities, and create spaces where individuals can thrive. Kene’s leadership and the work of D.R.E.A.M.S. Academy align closely with that vision by focusing on both access and empowerment.
We are grateful for this recognition and what it represents. It is a reminder that the work being done matters and that the effort to expand opportunity and access can have a meaningful impact.
We congratulate Kene on this achievement and look forward to continuing the work that made it possible.
